The (17-18-4) Cougars are 1-1-1 on a 7-game road trip that continues Tuesday in Medicine Hat and Wednesday in Calgary.

PG is 6th in the Western Conference standings two points behind Tri-City and three back of Everett.

The (18-13-2-1) Spruce Kings are off until they host the (14-16-1-3) Trail Smoke Eaters in a triple-header Friday and Saturday night (January 27th and 28th) at 7:00 and Sunday afternoon (January 29th) at 3:00.

In the 9-team Interior Division, Prince George is 4th and Trail is 8th.

Brock Boeser tied the game at 3 with just 17 seconds left in the third and the Canucks went on to win the shootout (2-1) to snap a 4-game losing streak.

It was just the second victory in the last nine games for Vancouver.

The (18-22-3) Canucks (who lost 4-3 Saturday in Florida) host Tampa Bay Wednesday night at 7:00 to start a 4-game home stand.

Former Vancouver Canucks enforcer “Gino” Odjick has passed away following a reported heart attack. He was 52.

Odjick also played with the Islanders, Flyers, and Canadiens in a 12-year NHL career.

Canadian quarterback Nathan Rourke is leaving the B.C. Lions.

The 24-year-old Rourke has signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars and will compete to earn a backup role behind Trevor Lawrence.

The (19-24) Toronto Raptors visit the (25-19) New York Knicks today (Monday at noon PT) and the Milwaukee Bucks Tuesday night (4:30).
