The Prince George Cougars play their fourth game of a seven-game road trip tonight (Tuesday) when they visit the (15-21-5-1) Medicine Hat Tigers.
P.G. is 1-1-1 after the first three games.
They are coming off Saturday’s 4-3 loss in Swift Current.

BCHL:
There are no BCHL regular season games this week as the league holds its East-West All-Star game on Friday in Penticton.
The (18-13-2-1) Spruce Kings host the (14-16-1-3) Trail Smoke Eaters in a triple-header Friday and Saturday night (January 27th and 28th) at 7:00 and Sunday afternoon (January 29th) at 3:00.
In the 9-team Interior Division, Prince George is 4th and Trail is 8th.

Dak Prescott had four touchdown passes and ran for another as the Cowboys won their first road playoff game in 31 years.
In what may have been Tom Brady’s final game in a Tampa uniform, he completed 35 of 66 passes for 351 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception.
The NFL Conference semifinals this weekend feature Jacksonville at Kansas City (1:30 PM) and the New York Giants at Philadelphia (5:15) on Saturday followed by Cincinnati at Buffalo (noon) and Dallas at San Francisco (3:30) on Sunday.

Canada West Basketball:
The UNBC Timberwolves host the Winnipeg Wesmen in Canada West basketball Friday and Saturday.
The men play Friday at noon and Saturday at 3 p.m. while the women battle at 5:00 p.m. on both of those days.
UNBC is 5-7 (men) and 4-8 (women) while Winnipeg is 9-3 in both divisions.

Skiing:
The Caledonia Nordic Ski Club of Prince George welcomes 165 skiers, including 13 from Prince George for 2023 Under 23 Nordiq Canada Selection Trials and Nordiq Cup.
Four international junior teams (Poland, Czech Republic, Australia, and Estonia) will also be taking part in the competition, getting some extra experience and practice before the World Junior championships in Whistler.
The competition runs from Wednesday to Saturday.

BC Elite Hockey League: (BCEHL)
(U18 male)
The (8-13-1) Under-18 Cariboo Cougars host the (4-19-0-1) Thompson Blazers in Fort St. James Saturday night at 6:30 (outdoor game) and Sunday morning at 10:30 (indoor game).
Cariboo is 7th and Thompson 8th in the 9-team division.
(U18 female)
The (8-16-2) Under-18 female Northern Capitals host the (10-10-0-2) Thompson-Okanagan Lakers Friday night at 6:30 in the outdoor game in Fort St James.
The two teams also meet Saturday morning at 10:00 in Vanderhoof.
Thompson-Okanagan is 3rd and the Capitals are 4th in the 5-team division.
