PG shut out of Zellers initial store relaunch in Canada

Zellers is making a comeback across Canada, but the initial relaunch will not include Prince George.

The Hudson’s Bay Company announced today (Wednesday) that 25 new stores will be opening across Canada this year, including four locations in BC.

They are at the Pacific Centre in Downtown Vancouver, Guildford Town Centre in Surrey, 7 Oaks Shopping Centre in Abbotsford and the Aberdeen Mall in Kamloops.

At its peak, Zellers had 350 locations across Canada in 1999 but originally ceased operations in 2013.
