A dangerous goods inspection has taken a commercial truck driver out of service.
According to the Ministry of Transportation, the event occurred just before 3 pm on January 10th.
Over $1,000 in tickets were handed out after the driver was caught talking on his cell phone as he was in the process of transporting a 13-thousand-litre diesel tank in Prince George.
During the inspection, the driver had no Transport of Dangerous Goods training certificate, shipping documentation, and no pre-trip inspection.
