Police investigating suspicious death of a woman

Early this morning (Saturday), police responded to a report saying a woman had died in a residence on the 500 block of 17th avenue.

“The death is currently being treated as suspicious and the Prince George RCMP’s Serious Crime Unit has taken conduct of the investigation. They are working alongside the B.C. Coroner Service, which is running a parallel investigation,” stated Cpl. Jennifer Cooper.

Police are looking for anyone who may have witnessed “anything suspicious near the residence,” or people who know who frequents the home.
