WHL:
The (21-21-4) Prince George Cougars continue a 5-game homestand when they entertain the (17-26-3) Kelowna Rockets tonight (Tuesday) and Wednesday at CN Centre.
The same teams also play Friday in Kelowna.
The Cougars and Rockets have split their first four meetings.
Prince George is 2nd in the B.C. Division and 6th in the Western Conference, two points ahead of Vancouver and six points behind Everett.
The Cougars have three games in hand on both the Giants and the Silvertips.
Kelowna is holding down the 8th and final playoff spot in the Western Conference, four points ahead of the Victoria Royals and the Rockets have five games in hand.

The (20-26-4) Canucks visit the New York Rangers on Wednesday (5:00 PT) and Bo Horvat and the New York Islanders on Thursday (4:30).
Vancouver will conclude a 4-game road trip Saturday in Detroit (9:00 AM).

There are half-a-dozen Tuesday games in the NHL with one Canadian team in action as Edmonton plays in Detroit.
BCHL:
The (21-16-2-1) Prince George Spruce Kings host the (10-24-3-2) Merritt Centennials Friday and Saturday.
The Spruce Kings are coming off Sunday’s 3-1 victory in Salmon Arm.

BC Elite Hockey League: (BCEHL)
(U18 male)
The (11-14-1-2) Under-18 Cariboo Cougars host the (0-29-0-1) North Island Silvertips Friday night at 6:30 in Quesnel, Saturday morning at 9:00 at Kin 1, Saturday afternoon at 4:15 at Kin 1 and Sunday morning at 8:15 at Kin 1.
Cariboo is 7th in the 9-team division.

Special Olympics:
Prince George has been selected to host the Special Olympics BC Summer Games for the third time.
They will be held in 2025 with some 1,100 athletes competing in 10 sports.
There will also be approximately 300 volunteer coaches and mission staff from their home communities around the province.
More than 1,000 volunteers and sponsor support will be needed to help stage the Games.
Canada West Basketball:
The UNBC Timberwolves complete their Canada West basketball regular season with a doubleheader against the Bobcats Friday and Saturday in Brandon.
UNBC is 7-11 (12th place women) and 8-10 (9th place men).
The top 12 qualify for the playoffs starting Feb 17th.
Brandon is 0-18 (women) and 10-8 (men).

The (25-30) Toronto Raptors will host the San Antonio Spurs Wednesday (4:30 PT) to begin a 5-game home stand.
