PG’S MAYOR BEGINS COMMUNITY TALKS IN THE HART

Mayor Lyn Hall’s community conversation series is about to begin.

Hall along with the rest of PG City Council will be hosting a conversation about civic matters in the Hart Highlands tonight.

Hall says this will be the first of these get together’s across the city.

“during my campaign in my run for mayor I had said that I wanted to ensure the council we re-connect back to the community and this is part of that, I had said we’d be going to the various neighbourhoods and communities within Prince George at that time I spoke about the Hart, College Heights, the Blackburn and the Bowl are”

Hall says this will not be a one time occurrence.

“my intent also is not to just make this a single meeting in a four year mandate I want to keep coming back to these communities on a regular basis so I am hoping between now and sometime in the new year we reach all the neighbourhoods and communities and start that process over again”

The conversation topics will range, and the public is invited to come out and share their concerns or discuss their ideas.

It all takes place from 7 to 9 pm at the Hart Pioneer Center.
