Sunscreen required, high temperatures expected this weekend

Prince George weather is looking good for the next week or two.

Barring a few days of potential thunderstorm risks we are bound to see some warm temperatures, as Meteorologist Andre Besson explains:

“We do expect basically dry conditions Friday through the rest of the weekend, and with temperatures being quite a few degrees above normal. As a matter of fact, we do have a high of 30 degrees in the forecast for Sunday going into Monday”

He mentioned that these temperatures are due to a pressure system coming off the warmer waters of the pacific and that the normals for this time of year are around 22 degrees.

Besson does not expect much in terms of precipitation over the next while, which is odd considering that the month of June in the North traditionally sees the most rainfall during the year.

Something going on in the Prince George area you think people should know about?
