Spruce Kings dominate Merritt in goal-scoring bonanza

If you want to learn how to score goals, the Prince George Spruce Kings may have some tips for you.

The Spruce Kings defeated the Merritt Centennials in dominating fashion by a 10-4 margin.

It was a strong game for Ty Gagno and Jack Stockfish, each notching two goals and two assists in front of the 857 fans at the Kopar Memorial Arena.

Linden Makow tallied a pair of goals of his own.

John Herrington, Luca Primerano, Jack Kurrle, and Jake Schneider added goals for the Spruce Kings as well.

It was a quiet night for Jordan Fairlie in net, as he only faced sixteen shots throughout the entire game, including just one in the second period (which was a Merritt goal).

The Spruce Kings put 55 pucks on net in the win.

The Spruce Kings (22-16-3-1) sit fourth in the BCHL’s Interior Division, and are tied in points with the third place West Kelowna Warriors. (22-15-4-0)
