BCHL:

Salmon Arm Silverbacks  2  Prince George Spruce Kings  1 (OT)

Tristan Allen opened the scoring for the Silverbacks 11:34 into the game.

Luca Primerano tied it in the third to force overtime.

CJ Foley sealed the Silverbacks win just 33 seconds into the extra frame.

The Spruce Kings (22-16-4-1) and Silverbacks (22-15-4-1) are tied with 49 points.

However, the Silverbacks sit in fourth in the Interior Division, ahead of the Spruce Kings because they have the better head-to-head record.

The two teams will play again this afternoon (12:00) as the BCHL’s Road Show continues in Burns Lake.

The Prince George Cougars (24-23-4-0) will be back in action tomorrow (Monday) in a matinee matchup with the Portland Winterhawks (36-13-2-2).
