The BC SPCA is having a clear out on cats this weekend.
An overflow of the furry friends has the group selling cats for 50% off.
North Cariboo SPCA General Manager Jamie Walsh says this deal will be happening for this weekend only.
“In our shelter we are looking at 40 or so cats at the moment,” says Walsh, “in our foster system we have another handful of kittens and 10 or so cats.”
Walsh says they are open Friday and Saturday from noon to six p-m.
She says it is common to have a few extra felines this time of year.
