Northern Health is warning that there has recently been an increase in overdoses from “two distinct substances” in Prince George.
Down, a drug that causes “prolonged sedation, breathing difficulties, strange behaviour, and blackouts,” has shown high levels of fentanyl in recent tests – between 15 to 20%
Northern Health said they have less information on the second substance, but they said it is Purple and has also been linked to overdoses.
