Four Prince George Cougars have been selected to the WHL B.C. Division all-star teams.
Sniper Chase Wheatcroft and defenceman Ethan Samson, who both have NHL signed contracts, were chosen to the first team.

Meanwhile, the Cougars are listed in the CHL’s top 10 as an honourable mention.
The WHL playoffs open with a full slate of eight games on Friday.
The Cougars host the Tri-City Americans Friday and Saturday before the series shifts to Kennewick, Washington next week.
It will be a 2-3-2 format.
The (37-24-6-1) Cougars ended the regular season fourth in the Western Conference and on an 11-game point streak (8-0-2-1).
The (34-26-5-3) Americans finished fifth and are riding a 7-game point streak (6-0-0-1).

BCHL:
The (27-20-6-1) Prince George Spruce Kings visit the (27-20-4-3) Salmon Arm Silverbacks Friday and Saturday to begin their best-of-seven first-round series.
Games 3 and 4 shift to Prince George next week on Tuesday and Wednesday (April 4th and 5th).
The Spruce Kings finished 5th in the 9-team BCHL Interior Division although they had the same amount of points as the 4th-place Silverbacks, just one behind the 3rd-place West Kelowna Warriors.
