Mark Lamb named the BC Division coach of the year

The Prince George Cougars Head Coach is taking home some hardware in the league’s annual awards.

Mark Lamb has been named the BC Division’s coach of the year and has been nominated for the WHL’s coach of the year.

Lamb coached the Cats to a 37-24-6-1 record this season, finishing fourth place in the Western Conference and second in the BC Division.

This is a massive improvement over last season where the Cougars finished 6th with a 24-39-4-1 record.

The Cougars are in action tonight in Kennewick, Washington when they play game four of their round one series against the Tri-City Americans.

After a 4-2 loss last night, the Cougars trail the best-of-seven series 2-1.
