The Prince George Spruce Kings season ended when they lost 2-1 to the Salmon Arm Silverbacks Wednesday in double overtime.

Gushue is trying to capture Canada’s first world men’s gold medal since his team prevailed in 2017 in Edmonton.
The top two teams from the 13-team round-robin advance to the semifinals on Saturday (4 PM PT).
The third-place team plays the sixth-place team while four meets five on Saturday (11 AM PT) to see who advances to the semis.
The semifinal winners will play for gold on Sunday at 1 PM (PT) with the semifinal losers battling for bronze on Sunday (8 AM).
