Quesnel’s Mitch Love is once again the American Hockey League’s Coach of the Year.
Love took home the Louis A.R. Pieri Memorial Award after leading the Calgary Wranglers, the Flames affiliate, to a league-best 51-17-3-1 record.
He is just the third coach in AHL history to win back-to-back coach of the year awards.
The others were Bill Dineen in 1985 and 86, and Robbie Ftorek in 1995 and 96.
