“Prince George Live for Ukraine” fundraiser banquet to be held in May

The pace at which Ukrainian refugees are coming to Prince George is only increasing over a year into the war.

PG For Ukraine and Share Hope have helped 251 displaced people settle in Prince George, and are in communication with another 64 who could potentially be on their way.

Fundraisers to help the organization have started popping up, most notably the Miracle Theatre production that is running until the end of the week.

Now, a banquet being thrown by the Prince George Community Foundation has just been announced.

It is called “Prince George Live for Ukraine,” and will feature a four course dinner, silent auction, dancers, and a performance from Jessica Holmes – one of Canada’s top comedians.

The banquet will take place on May 12th at 6:00 at the Coast Inn.

Tickets are on sale now, a table for eight costs $900, an individual ticket will run you $125.
