The Thunderbirds swept the series 4-0, outscoring the Cougars by a combined score of 25-5.
Seattle, 8-0 in the playoffs, advances to the Western Conference Final, likely against Kamloops as the Blazers lead the Portland Winterhawks 3-0 in that best-of-7 second-round series.
Chase Wheatcroft, in his last WHL game, scored the final Cougars goal of the season in the final minute of the third period before 4,024 fans at CN Centre.
