Thousands pack CN Centre parking lot for mass garage sale

Today (April 29) is Junk in the Trunk day, and thousands of people came out to the CN Centre parking lot to do some second-hand shopping.

Everything from clothes to toys to car parts was on display at the booths of the 125 vendors.

Some vendors are regular families selling old or unwanted clothing and household items, others are craft vendors with jewelry or goods they have made.

You can also recycle old tires, participate in a bike swap, and get your papers shredded at the sale.

The event is put on by REAPS (Recycling & Environmental Action Planning Society) and will run until 1:00 this afternoon.

This is the second year the event has been able to run since the pandemic.
