At 38 years and 295 days, Joe Pavelski of the Stars became the oldest player in the NHL to tally four goals in a game as he took care of the Dallas scoring.
The other two NHL conference semis open tonight (Wednesday) with New Jersey at Carolina (4:00 PT) and Edmonton at Vegas (6:30).

76ers centre Joel Embiid is the NBA’s Most Valuable Player for the 2022-23 season. It is the first time he has won the award. The 29-year-old from Cameroon averaged a career-high 33 points a game to lead the league in scoring. Embiid also averaged just over 10 rebounds a game.
