Northern FanCon adds UFC Hall of Famer to guest list

Northern FanCon hits CN Centre tomorrow (Friday), and the guest list is continuing to grow.

“The guest list is always something that people turn out for and this year is no different,” said Northern FanCon Founder Norm Coyne.

Joining the guest list at this year’s event includes UFC Hall of Famer Forrest Griffin and Kate Green, Director and Producer of Narcoleap and Murphy’s Law.

This year’s guest list also includes:

    • Lou Diamond Phillips – La Bamba, Stand and Deliver, Young Guns 1 & 2
    • Emily Swallow – The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, Supernatural
    • Michael Cudlitz – The Walking Dead, Clarice, Band of Brothers
    • Summer Glau – Firefly, Serenity, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
    • 501st Legion

“We have more booths this year than we’ve ever had at FanCon before,” said FanCon founder Norm Coyne.

“I would say nearly double the selection of what we usually see at FanCon as far as pop culture items, and anything from tattoo booths, to toys, to games, all that kind of stuff.”

Coyne added there will be an area outside of the CN Centre with food trucks, bouncy castles, and kids’ games.

“It’s just a little taste for folks that maybe aren’t going to make it into the event, but of course, we highly encourage everybody to come join us and have a good time inside, but there will be stuff going on outside as well.”
