The Stars scored four goals in the second period to even the series 2-2.

Game 5 is Thursday night at 6:30 (PT) in Dallas.

Carolina  6  New Jersey  1

The Hurricanes scored five unanswered goals in the second period and lead the series 3-1.
Game 5 will be played Thursday night (4:00 PT) in Carolina.

There are a pair of Stanley Cup playoff games tonight (Wednesday) and both involve Canadian teams: Toronto at Florida (4:00 PT) followed by Vegas at Edmonton (7:00).

The Panthers (riding a six-game winning streak) lead the Maple Leafs 3-0 while the Golden Knights are ahead of the Oilers 2-1.

With the injury to Ilya Samsonov, Toronto will start rookie Joseph Woll in the net.

Odds are stacked against the Maple Leafs as teams trailing 3-0 in an NHL series are just 4-197.

WHL:  

The WHL will hold its Prospects Draft on Thursday.

The Prince George Cougars have the 15th overall pick.

The Prince Albert Raiders have the top two picks as well as the 7th overall selection.

The Raiders acquired the first pick in a trade with Edmonton and the 7th pick in a deal with Kelowna.

UPDATE:

The league held its two-round U.S. Priority Draft today (Wednesday) with the P.G. Cougars picking a defenceman and a forward.

The WHL Final begins with games in Winnipeg Friday and Saturday as the Seattle Thunderbirds visit the Ice.

It will be a 2-3-2 format with games in Kent, Washington May 16th, 17th and if needed the 19th.

There are two NBA playoff games tonight (Wednesday): Miami at New York (4:30 PT) and the LA Lakers at Golden State (7:00). The Heat and Lakers both enjoy a 3-1 series lead.
