The deadline to submit paperwork has passed, 10 candidates are officially campaigning for the two open trustee positions in SD57’s by-election.
They are:
- Lucy Duncan
- Don Fitzpatrick
- Sarah Holland
- David Low
- Milton Mahoney
- Dusty Martin
- Shar McCrory
- Heather McKenzie
- Bill Price
- Josh Silva
The by-election will be held on June 17th.
The election was called after trustees Betty Bekkering and Gillian Burnett left their positions with the new school board just five months after being elected back in April.
