NHL: (6th game in the best-of-7 Western Conference semifinals)

Vegas Golden Knights  5  Edmonton Oilers  2

The Golden Knights won the series 4-2. Jonathan Marchessault scored a natural hat trick in the second period and Adin Hill stopped 38 of 40 shots to lead Vegas.

In the Stanley Cup playoffs tonight (Monday at 5:00 PT) there is a 7th and deciding game featuring the Seattle Kraken at the Dallas Stars.

(The winner will play Vegas in the Western Conference Final)

The Kraken doubled the Stars 6-3 on Saturday in Seattle to tie the series at 3-3.

The Eastern Conference Final which has Florida against Carolina will open this week.

WHL:  

The WHL Championship Series is tied 1-1 with the next three games in Kent, Washington on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

The Winnipeg ICE won the opener 3-2 Friday and the Seattle Thunderbirds responded with a 4-2 victory on Saturday.

It is a 2-3-2 format with Games 6 and 7, if needed, in Winnipeg on May 21st and 22nd.

There are a total of 17 NHL-drafted players that are participating in the series, 10 with Seattle and 7 with Winnipeg.

NBA: (7th and deciding game in the Eastern Conference semifinals)

Boston Celtics  112  Philadelphia 76ers  88

Jayson Tatum scored 51 points for Boston, the most ever in a Game 7.

The Celtics won the series 4-3 and will play the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Final starting Wednesday night (5:30 PT) in Boston.

The Western Conference Final will open Tuesday night (5:30 PT) in Denver with the Nuggets at home against the LA Lakers.

The (24-16) Jays are 3-0 on a 10-game homestand after sweeping the (25-15) Braves.
