NHL: (7th and deciding game in the Western Conference semifinal)

Dallas Stars  2  Seattle Kraken  1

The Stars won the series 4-3 to advance to the Western Conference Final against the Golden Knights beginning Friday night at 5:30 (PT) in Vegas.

The NHL Eastern Conference Final opens Thursday (5 pm PT) with the Florida Panthers at the Carolina Hurricanes.

WHL:  

Game 3 in the WHL Championship Series will be played tonight (Tuesday) n Kent, Washington.

The Seattle Thunderbirds and the Winnipeg Ice are tied 1-1.

The Thunderbirds will also host Game 4 on Wednesday and Game 5 on Friday.

Should the series need a 6th and 7th game they are slated for Winnipeg on Sunday and Monday.

There are a total of 17 NHL-drafted players that are participating in the series, 10 with Seattle and 7 with Winnipeg.

BCHL:

The third game of the BCHL Fred Page Cup Final is set for tonight in Alberni Valley.

The Penticton Vees lead the Bulldogs 2-0.

Major League Baseball:

New York Yankees  7  Toronto Blue Jays  4

The (24-17) Jays are 3-1 on a 10-game homestand which will continue tonight (Tuesday at 4:07 PT) against the (24-19) Yankees.

NBA: 

The Philadelphia 76’ers have fired head coach Doc Rivers, who had two years left on his contract.

The move comes just a couple of days after the 76ers were blown out 112-88 in Game 7 of their second-round series against Boston.

The NBA Western Conference Final will open tonight (5:30 PT) in Denver with the Nuggets at home against the LA Lakers.

The Eastern Final tips off Wednesday (5:30) in Boston as the Celtics host the Miami Heat.
