Huble Homestead opening for the season this weekend

Northern residents will be able to get a taste of days past this weekend as Huble Homestead is opening for the season.

“Saturday is a bit quiet but we have our opening event on Sunday and Monday, May 21st and 22nd, Spring on the Homestead,” said Huble Homestead Executive Director Krystal Leason.

“We’re celebrating spring, we’re teaching visitors about all the different types of things that settler families like the Huble’s would have to do in order to make sure the rest of their year was a success.”

Leason added they’ll have their whole schedule of events back this year, such as Dominon Day and Homestead Days.

She said the Homestead will be open 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. every day from May 20th to September 4th.
