Flood Watch issued for Upper Fraser, Peace Regions

Weekend rainfall has led the BC River Forecast Centre to issue a flood watch for much of the eastern half of the Province.

Included in the Flood Watch is the Upper Fraser tributaries upstream of Prince George, including the McGregor River, Willow River, Bowron River, and others.

Additionally, the Middle Fraser including the Cariboo mountains and tributaries east of Quesnel are also in a flood watch.

Environment Canada has also issued a special weather statement, saying more rain is on the Way for the Prince George area.

Additionally, much of the Peace Region has been upgraded a flood watch from a high streamflow advisory.
