The Golden Knights jumped out to a 3-0 lead just 7:10 into the first period.

Vegas leads the series 3-0 with Game 4 Thursday night (5:00) in Dallas.

The NHL Eastern Conference Final resumes tonight (Wednesday at 5:00) in Florida with the Panthers enjoying a 3-0 lead over the Carolina Hurricanes.

Panthers goalie Sergei Bobrovsky has stopped 109 of the last 110 shots he has faced in this series.

World Hockey:

Canada ended preliminary-round play at the men’s world hockey championship Tuesday with a 3-1 win over Czechia.

Canada will face host and defending champion Finland in the quarterfinals on Thursday (10:20 am PT)

The Canadian team finished second in Group B with a 4-1-1-1 record while Finland was in
third place in Group A at 5-0-1-1.

The Memorial Cup will start Friday night at 6:00 with the host Kamloops Blazers against the Quebec Remparts.

The Thunderbirds won the WHL title in five games while the Petes took the OHL championship in six games and the Remparts captured the QMJHL title in six games.

 

PG Cougars:

Less than two weeks after hearing his name called 15th overall at the 2023 WHL Prospects Draft, defenceman Carson Carels of Manitoba signed a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement with the Prince George Cougars.

Carels, who turns 15 on June 23rd, spent the 2022-23 season with the Pilot Mound Academy U15 Prep Team of the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL).

He recorded 32 points in 20 games.

The Miami lead is reduced to 3-1 with Game 5 Thursday night (5:30 PT) in Boston.

The (26-23) Jays scored their 20 runs on 27 hits as they ended a 5-game losing streak.
