Update: 26-year-old woman who was reported missing has been found safe

Update

RCMP in Prince George report that Michelle Margaret Alec has been located and is safe.

Prince George RCMP is asking the public to keep a watch out for 26-year-old Michelle Margaret Alec.

The family last saw Michelle at the beginning of April and has not been seen or heard from since.

Michelle Margaret Alec is described as:

• Indigenous female
• 157 cm (5’02”)
• 54 kg (119 lb)
• Brown eyes
• Dark brown hair

Michelle can usually be found in the downtown area of Prince George but has not been recently seen in the area.

“Michelle’s family is very concerned for her well-being. She usually checks in regularly with family but has failed to do so since April. Police are asking that if anyone sees Michelle, they call the non-emergency line at 250-561-3300 to report it to a police officer,” states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
