Fans in Kamloops got a taste of memorial cup hockey last night. It did not taste good.
After a 1-1 first period, Quebec ran away with the game, piling up 7 goals in the last two periods – all with just one powerplay in the game.
Nico Myatovic and the Seattle Thunderbirds will take on the Peterborough Petes at 3:00 this afternoon. Kamloops plays the Petes tomorrow.

Once leading the series 3-0, the Miami Heat will try to close the Eastern Conference finals in six games at home tonight and avoid a game seven in Boston.
That game will be played at 5:30, the winner of the series will play the Denver Nuggets in the NBA finals.
MLB
The Toronto Blue Jays play their second of three against the Minnesota Twins at 11:10 this morning.
The Jays record continues to slide, 27-25 so far this season, 3-7 in their last 10.
The Twins lead the weak AL Central division with a 26-25 record.
