Area restriction around Teare Creek Wildfire rescinded

The area restriction that was established around the Teare Creek Wildfire has been rescinded as of noon today. (Monday)

According to the BC Wildfire Service, there is no longer a need to restrict public access, due to reduced wildfire activity and behaviour.

The BC Wildfire Service is also reminding the public that the Teare Creek Wildfire is still an active wildfire, and caution should be exercised at all times when travelling or working in the area.

As of 3:10 this afternoon, the Donnie Creek Wildfire in the Prince George Fire Centre remains the only Wildfire of Note in the province.
