Regional Business Liaisons coming to Fort Saint James, Fraser-Fort George areas

Thirteen applications for Regional Business Liaisons have been given the green light by Northern Development Initiative Trust.

They will offer one-on-one support services for rural businesses and communities impacted by forest policy changes

The program was first announced last month following a $1.5 million investment from the province’s Rural Business and Community Recovery Initiative.

Funding was made available to Community Futures Development Corporations, local governments, Indigenous governments, and economic development entities.

The following organizations have been approved for RBL positions:

He also covered the 2019 National Junior A Championship, the 2017 Telus Cup, the 2022 World Women’s Curling Championship, and the 2022 BC Summer Games. Brendan is the news voice on 94.3 The Goat and Country 97 FM, reporting on crime, real estate, labour, and environmental issues. Outside of work, he officiates box lacrosse and fastball, sits on the Prince George Sports Hall of Fame board, and co-hosts the Hockey North podcast.
