The Westwood Pub Devils crushed the Northland/Nissan Assault 14-1 to take a 2-0 lead in their best of 5 Prince George Senior Lacrosse semi-final. The Devils, who took the opener 18-1, upped their winning streak to 38 games dating back to last year. The two teams meet again at Kin 1 Thursday at 8 p.m.
–The BX Pub Bandits go for a sweep against the Quesnel Crossfire when the two senior lacrosse teams meet tonight (Wed) at 8 at Kin 1. The Bandits lead the best of 5 semi-final 2-0. BX has outscored Quesnel by a total of 25-5.
–Five Prince George youth soccer teams compete this week at the Provincials which run Thursday to Sunday.
The U14 B Girls are in Nelson, the U14 B Boys are at 100 Mile House, the U16 B Girls and Boys participate in Penticton and the U18 A Girls face Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island opposition in Surrey.
