Chili Cook off and Gourmet Arts Festival making mouths water this weekend

For the second straight year, Studio 2880 and the Community Arts Council are hosting the BC Gourmet Arts Festival at the Kin Centre this weekend.

The event will run on Friday (1:00pm – 8:00pm), Saturday (10:00am – 6:00pm) and Sunday (10:00am – 4:00pm), and will feature a multicultural food festival, a charity breakfast for Share Hope to benefit Ukrainians settling in Prince George, the Top Taste Tournament, and of course the 47th Annual Great Northern Chili Cookoff.

12 teams of local celebrities, politicians, and arts community members will compete in the Cookoff this year, aiming to win the votes of the community and be crowned the best Chili Chef in Prince George.

The Top Taste Tournament will require competitors to incorporate “Haunted Peach hot sauce” into a dish for judges to sample.
