UNBC Timberwolves to begin Canada West soccer season August 25th

Some home cooking will be on the menu for both the UNBC Timberwolves men’s and women’s soccer teams when the kickoff the 2023 Canada West Soccer season.

Both varsity teams’ opening weekend is August 25th and 27th from Masich Place Stadium. The men will host the UBC Thunderbirds while the women welcome Trinity Western and Fraser Valley.

The Timberwolves women’s soccer team wraps up its regular season at home against the UBC Okanagan Heat and Thompson Rivers Wolfpack on October 13th and 15th.

The UNBC men finish up a week later in Kelowna against UBCO (October 21st and 22nd).

Playoffs begin with women’s play-in games on Oct. 21, followed by both men’s and women’s quarterfinals on Oct. 28.

The Canada West final four will run November 3rd to 5th.

U SPORTS nationals are set for Nov. 9 to 12 in eastern Canada. The women’s tournament will be hosted by Queens University in Kingston, Ont., while Cape Breton University will host the men’s tournament in Sydney, N.S.

September 16th at Winnipeg
