Four standardized report card writing days for elementary school teachers have been approved in School District 57 for the 2023-24 year.
Primary teachers will be getting three days:
- Monday, November 27,
- Monday, February 26,
- Friday, June 7
Intermediate teachers will get one:
- Monday, June 10
“We are happy to support parents and will do what we can to ease the burden of childcare,” said Rachael Weber, SD57’s Board Chair, in a release.
The district said standardized days off will help daycare providers and community organizations make plans, and will help departments offer “professional development and in-service options for staff.”
