The Winnipeg Ice experiment has met a sudden end.

The Ice moved to Winnipeg for the 2019/20 season. They played in an arena that only sat 1,600 the entire time, except for the league finals this past season.
The franchise will be headed to Wenatchee next season, joining the US division. This means the WHL’s top three teams from last year (Kamloops, Seattle, Winnipeg) will all be playing out of the same conference this year.
This will also be the first time the WHL’s conferences will be balanced, 11 in each instead of 12 in the East and 10 in the West.

The Blue Jays will play their second of three straight games against the Rangers today.
Toronto narrowly won yesterday, 2-1.
The Jays are fighting for third place in the AL East, half a game behind the Yankees with a 39-32 record.
The 42-27 Rangers lead the AL West.
