The POUNDS project in PG temporarily closes 3rd Avenue location

A key overdose prevention site and drop-in centre in Prince George is closings its doors for the time being.

According to a Facebook post, the Pounds Project located on 3rd Avenue announced the temporary closure of its facility.

It states the organization needs to address some significant developments.

The group says they understand the impact the closure will have on the individuals who rely on our services, but believe this step is crucial for the future of The POUNDS Project.

The POUNDS project was created in Prince George during 2018.
