Campers and anyone starting a fire this weekend need to take caution.
Fire Service Spokesperson Jill Kelsh says while fires are okay, they need to be careful.
Kelsh says even if your camping area is damp you still need to make sure your campfire is out.
She says it needs to be cool to the touch before leaving.
She says currently there are no fire bans in the Prince George Fire Centre, however the Peace region does not allow bigger backyard burns.
