Prince George City Council has given first and second reading to a rezoning bylaw to allow a residential development at the corner of Handlen Road.
According to a report presented to City Council last night (Monday), the applicant is looking to build a “modest sized apartment building” at 4393 Handlen Road.
The maximum number of dwelling units that could be developed on the subject property is 40.
City staff noted five letters of support, seven noting concerns, and six in opposition were received as correspondence.
Final reading of the rezoning bylaw will be withheld until a servicing brief and a traffic impact analysis have been provided to council.
