The WHL has released the schedule for the upcoming season.
The Cougars will get things started with a first-round rematch, hosting the Tri-City Americans, as the start of a home-heavy fall schedule – nine of their first twelve games will be on home ice.
This will include their first meeting with the Wenatchee Wild on October 6 and 7 at the CN Centre.
Those games will be in the middle of the Cats’ longest homestand of the season, sandwiched between a doubleheader with Kelowna (Oct 3 and 4) and a game with Swift Current (Oct 11).
At the other end of the campaign, the Cougars end the season with five of their last six on the road.
At the end of October the Cats hit the road for their annual Eastern swing, with games in Moose Jaw (Oct 28), Regina (Oct 29), Brandon (Nov 1), Saskatoon (Nov 3), and Prince Albert (Nov 4).
Throughout the 68 game season, the Cougars will play 16 weeknight games and 6 on Sundays.
The WHL today unveiled the 2023-24 Regular Season schedule, beginning Friday, September 22 and concluding Sunday, March 24, 2024.
