City releases significant capital projects report

The City of Prince George’s latest significant capital projects report has been released.

The report is released every six months, detailing the budget and performance on significant projects over $1 million.

According to the report, the city’s return on Municipal Finance Authority investments for the year were over $3 million.

In addition, the report says total capital expenditures are currently below the total approved budget allocation.

Notable projects completed or underway so far this year include:

  • Malaspina Avenue Daycare
  • Dagg Road Daycare
  • 7th Avenue Streetscape Update
  • 2023 Water Main replacements
  • Former Fire hall #1 demolition
  • Civic facility roofs replacements
