Adam Sieban of Prince George will be wearing the Maple Leaf for the first time next month.
The local sprinter out of the Prince George Track and Field Club has been named to the Canadian NACAC (North American Central American and Caribbean) U18 championship team.
Sieben will be competing in the 100m and 200m sprint events in Costa Rica, from July 21-23.
In addition, he was also named BC Athletics Athlete of the Week. Sieban captured gold at the BC Jamboree in the 400m and gold in the 400m at the 2022 BC High School Provincials.
