Major League Baseball:
The Major League Baseball All-Star game will be played tonight (Tuesday) in Seattle (5:00).
The American League is aiming to pick up its 10th straight win over the National League.
Toronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. won the Home Run Derby Monday night. He beat Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Randy Arozarena 25-23 in the final.

First baseman Jared Young has now played 10 games with the Chicago Cubs since his call-up from the Iowa Cubs.
Young, who just turned 28, is batting .200 with Chicago (6-for-30) with one homer and five RBIs.

The Toronto Jays are 50-41 as of the All-Star break, good for 3rd place in the A.L. East.
Toronto is also tied with Houston for the second wild-card spot, a game ahead of the NY Yankees and two in front of the Boston Red Sox.
The Jays resume action on Friday (4:07 PM PT) when they host the (52-39) Arizona Diamondbacks to begin a 6-game homestand.

Basketball players Maria Mongomo and Sam Raphael have been added to the UNBC Wall of Honour.
Mongomo is the all-time top women’s scorer at UNBC while Raphael is the only three-time winner of the program’s Best Defensive Player Award.
Maria Mongomo was, quite simply, unstoppable.

CFL:
The B.C. Lions, coming off Sunday’s 35-19 victory over Montreal, have the bye in Week 6 and return to action on Saturday, July 22nd when they host Saskatchewan.
The (4-1) Lions are tied with Winnipeg for the top spot in the West Division, just ahead of (3-1) Saskatchewan.
The next CFL game will go on Thursday (6 PM PT) with (1-3) Hamilton at (0-5) Edmonton. The Elks have lost a league-record 19 straight home games.
