Local brewery’s street party returning after four year hiatus

Prince George’s streets will once again be alive with the sound of music.

In two weeks, Crossroads Brewing and Distillery’s street party will return after four years absent from downtown.

The event will feature four bands, the headlining bands being Juno Award-winning Said the Whale, and folk band Delhi 2 Dublin.

“We were really excited to get Said the Whale,” Daryl Leiski, an owner of Crossroads, told Vista Radio in an interview. “We jumped on that chance and booked them as soon as they said that date was available.”

Leiski said the event will also return next year, returning to the annual event it was hoping to be prior to the pandemic.

The 19+ event will take place on the crossroads between 5th Avenue and George Street on July 29th.

It will run from 5:00 until midnight, admission is through a ticket only.

You can find more information on the street party here.
