The City of Prince George is asking for input on how they communicate with residents.
The city engaged Discovery Research to conduct a mail-in survey of a random sample of 1,100 residents.
Those surveys are expected to arrive in mailboxes in the next few days.
A second online survey will also be made available through the city’s website and social media channels starting on July 26th and will be open until August 14th.
The responses will be used to develop a communications and engagement strategy, with the aim of providing information citizens are most interested in, and providing it in a way citizens would like to receive it.
“Local governments have diverse sets of audiences to communicate with and to hear from so we need to make sure we do whatever we can to address those diverse needs,” said Mayor Simon Yu.
The deadline for completed paper surveys is August 11th.
