The RCMP have made a breakthrough in relation to a Prince George home invasion that resulted in the death of a 22-year-old woman.
On Tuesday, police were called to the 21-hundred block of Upland Street where they located the deceased.
Cpl. Madonna Saunderson with the North District RCMP says an arrest has been made.
“Right now, one person, an adult man has been arrested in connection with the investigation from Tuesday. Charges have not been laid with this investigation but the suspect does remain custody on prior unrelated matters.”
The investigation is ongoing.
The PG RCMP are also looking into the death of a deceased woman inside a Victoria Street home that took place on Monday.
