Crossroads’ Street Fest back this weekend after 3 years away

Downtown Prince George is about to get a mini live music festival.

The Crossroads Street Fest is returning on Saturday (5 PM to Midnight July 29) for the first time in three years, due to pandemic restrictions.

The event will feature four bands, the headlining bands being Juno Award-winning Said the Whale, and folk band Delhi 2 Dublin.

“We were really excited to get Said the Whale,” Daryl Leiski, an owner of Crossroads, told Vista Radio in an interview. “We jumped on that chance and booked them as soon as they said that date was available.”

He said they anticipate the event returning to an annual basis, now that pandemic restrictions are in the rear-view.

Admission is by ticket only, and the event is 19+.
