35-year-old Travis Paul and 30-year-old Desarae Hiebert are facing several charges including robbery, theft of a motor vehicle, uttering threats, and wearing a disguised face to commit an indictable offence.

Paul is also charged with flight from police, and possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose.

Paul was remanded in custody until a court appearance on August 3rd.

Hiebert was remanded in custody until a court appearance tomorrow. (July 31)

Police say both suspects are well known to them.

Police say during the search of the accused, they seized a replica handgun.

Quesnel RCMP responded to a report of an armed robbery in the parking lot of the 7-11 store at approximately 2:46 a.m. on Thursday. (July 27)

The complainant reported that a male and female approached two youths, presented a firearm, and demanded their wallets and car keys.

The youths complied and the suspects fled in the youth’s vehicle.
