BIGSNBC Public Relations Specialist Kazha Cullen noted they’re still waiting on totals from a couple of restaurants.
The money raised from the fundraiser will go towards BIGSNBC’s active mentoring programs, including their in-school mentoring and group programs.
Cullen added that surpassing the goal helps them improve their programs as well.
“It allows us to look at what more we can give to the kids, what more they can learn, and allows us to provide more in-depth and higher quality programming for the kids,” Cullen said.
BIGSNBC also has their side by side raffle, as well as their glow golf fundraisers coming up.
